Discovering Monarchs
In the Discovering Monarchs project, your child will learn about English and British monarchs from AD 871 to the present day and consider how the power of the monarchy has changed over time. They will study significant sovereigns and their impact on life in Britain.
How you can help your child at home:
- Find quiet times to read through the Knowledge Organiser together which has been sent home and sent on Class Dojo. It contains all the main facts your child is expected to learn during their lessons.
- Go through the glossary and encourage your child to use the new vocabulary in sentences.
- Visit your local library to allow your child to do some reading on the project as well.
- Why not visit the Tower of London or Hampton Court Palace?
